Greetings from INFORMM!
We are pleased to inform you that the INFORMM and MSPTM will be co-organizing the above seminar at the Universiti Sains Malaysia Health Campus at Kelantan on 1st October 2018 (Monday). The theme of the event is “SEMINAR ON PARASITIC INFECTION IN EAST COAST MALAYSIA: Current Status on Prevalence, Diagnosis, Management and Related Issues”.
In this regard, it’d be very grateful if you can help us to disseminate this event through MyOHUN website. If you have some little time, we appreciate much if you can also help us to share this event through other higher institutions including UPM, UKM and UM.
Last but not least, may we cordially invite you and other MyOHUN members to attend this inaugural parasitic infection seminar held in East Coast of Malaysia.
We look forward to seeing you soon. Some details abaout the event are as follows:
Parasitology research is a long-established field in Malaysia. Despite the well-established sophisticated techniques in most of the current research institutions in Malaysia, the field of Neglected Tropical Disease (NTD) still requires more research, attention and affirmative action, thus it is important to increase communication and networking among parasitologists, other scientists and health personnel.
In line with the efforts of the Malaysian Government to improve public health in the East Coast, the Institute for Research in Molecular Medicine (INFORMM) aims to take the initiative to organize an inaugural seminar, entitled “Parasitic Infection in East Coast Malaysia: Current status on Prevalence, Diagnosis, Management and Related Issues”. This will hopefully provide Malaysian researchers and health personnel better insights into the current status, issues, research gaps and progress made on the topic of parasitic infection in Malaysia especially in the East Coast region.
