Media & Promotion Executive Vacancy

Malaysia One Health University Network MyOHUN would like to invite suitable candidates to apply for the vacancy of Media & Promotion Executive Vacancy.

The Media and Promotion Executive will be responsible for the communication media and
materials of the network. The position will report to the Project Manager. The main tasks
include:

Job Scope

  1. Design and produce promotional materials for the network, including but not limited
    to posters, banners, participants tags, backdrop, and file covers.
  2. Work closely with the Publicity and Communication Executive to manage social
    media platforms ie: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and TikTok.
  3. Work closely with the Publicity and Communication Executive to design and produce
    Annual Report on MyOHUN activities.
  4. Work closely with the Publicity and Communication Executive to design and produce
    bi-annual newsletters documenting One Health project activities and success.
  5. Recording and inventorying the network’s final products from research projects and
    activities including but not limited only to posters, videos, publications,
    presentations, and other materials.
  6. Recording and inventorying the network media materials including but not limited to
    photos and videos, news and paper clippings, and peer-review publications.
  7. Promote an open-access policy for sharing resources and information across the
    network.
  8. Produce compelling multimedia layout to support online and social engagement and
    other communications objectives as part of the overall strategy.
  9. Work closely with the IT & Communication Executive to update the website and
    other social media platforms in promoting news and providing updated information.
  10. Assist the Publicity and communication Executive as and when required in other
    promotional and publicity-related tasks.
  11. Assist the IT & Communication Executive in daily tasks and functions including but
    not limited to website update, maintenance and review, data entry and analysis
    including those related to network activities and ISO quality management.
  12. Assist administrative management of network, to include travel logistics, event
    coordination, and other operational needs.
  13. Take photographs at activity venues and assist other NCO staff in preparing and
    running the administration of activities.
  14. Perform other activities periodically as instructed.

Qualification

  1. Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Art/Design/ Graphic
    Design/Creative Multimedia or equivalent
  2. Good knowledge of Website Designing, proficient in using Adobe Photoshop or
    Adobe Illustrator, photo editing, and Microsoft Office.
  3. Social media savvy, well-versed with Facebook & Instagram in particular.
  4. Creative, independent, proactive, discipline, committed to job, responsible & have
    good communication skill.
  5. Efficient in time management, good organization skill, and ability to handle multiple
    tasks.
  6. Required language(s): English & Bahasa Malaysia, both written and verbal.
  7. Possesses own transport

Salary: RM 2,000.00- RM 4,500.00
Employment Status: Contract
