Field Simulation on Handling Disease Outbreak

Field Simulation on Handling Rabies Outbreak was held from 5^th to 6^th September 2017 in Wilayah Persekutuan Labuan as a collaboration between UNIMAS and Health Department of Federal Territory Labuan. Sixty-four ministerial officers from health and veterinary backgrounds, academicians, doctors and nurses took part in this activity. The activity was timely in the face of rabies at the neighbouring state of Sarawak. The training aims to improve skills among the workforce in managing an emerging diseases and to formulate a preparedness plan based on the One Health concept.
