About Us

Malaysia One Health University Network (MyOHUN) was established as part of Southeast Asia One Health University Network (SEAOHUN) with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) through the One Health Workforce Project. In 2020, the University of California, Davis and other United States university partners and organizations from the United States Consortium partnered with MyOHUN for the One Health Workforce-Next Generation (OHW-NG) Project which was completed in February 2025.

MyOHUN coordinates One Health-related activities such as conferences, seminars, and trainings for professionals, academicians, and students that focus on strengthening the One Health Workforce’s capacity to detect, respond and prevent infectious and zoonotic diseases including antimicrobial resistance, and improve biosafety and biosecurity practices.

In December 2023, MyOHUN successfully established itself as a non-profit organisation, marking a new phase of growth transitioning from project-based network into an independent organisation spearheading One Health education, training, capacity building and advocacy in Malaysia.

Keeping true to the core values of One Health, MyOHUN wishes to expand its network to any interested parties that shares the same mission, vision and value proposition in attaining and sustaining One Health at local and global levels.

Together we continue to connect, communicate and collaborate in ensuring a healthy planet with healthy people, healthy animals and a healthy environment.

All for One Health, One Health for All

Healthy Humans. Healthy Animals. Healthy Environment.
