One Health Young Leaders and Communicators

On 6^th April 2019, undergraduate students of multidiscipline from several universities had undergone an exciting six-day training program named One Health Young Leaders and Communicators at Sudara Beach Resort, Tok Bali, Bachok, Kelantan. This activity was in its fourth installment, and the facilitators were made up of academics from various universities of different disciplines in Malaysia, including UMK, USM, UniSZA, and IIUM. Additionally, Prof Dr. Latiffah Hassan, MyOHUN Coordinator and Prof Dr. Stanley Gordon Fenwick from Tufts University, USA, were among the speakers for this program. This year we trained 61 students from eight local universities, namely UNIMAS, UMS, USM, UUM, UMT, UniSZA, and UMK, besides five international participants from Bangladesh. With the aim to strengthen the participants’ communication, leadership, and partnership skills, participants were indulged in interactive lectures, group work, games, role-play, and team building.
