Took place in Felda Residence Hot Spring, Training of Government Officials & Educators on Biosecurity and Biosafety in Conservation Centre was held from 9th April to 11th April 2019. Thirty-four government officials and educators from PERHILITAN, National Wildlife Conservation Centre, National Elephant Conservation Centre, Veterinary Research Institute, RUMC, UKM, and UM attended the activity. The activity aims to train wildlife health personnel on biosecurity and biosafety measures in wildlife management in the conservation centre. Dr. Chris Wittier from Tufts University also presents to share his experiences and knowledge on wildlife management. A field visit to National Wildlife Rescue Centre (NWRC) was an additional experience when participants got to see for themselves the procedures and condition of wildlife care in the rescue center.
