ASEAN Seminar and Workshop on Antimicrobial Stewardship

MyOHUN in collaboration with Ministry of Health, Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry, British High Commission Kuala Lumpur and Nexus Health Solution Sdn Bhd had organized the ASEAN Seminar and Workshop on Antimicrobial Stewardship in The Vertical Connexion Conference & Event Centre, Bangsar South City, Kuala Lumpur from 30th to 31st October 2019. With the growing concern in many parts of the world of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), this activity aims to improve awareness and provide insights on practitioners and researchers of human and animal healthcare sectors that can contribute to improving the rational use of antimicrobials. More than 200 health practitioners, researchers, and academicians attended the activity from public as well as private sector. This 2-day program highlighted the theme “Stewardship for All” as a platform to discuss variety of topics related to AMR and also the partnership and collaboration among ASEAN members to strengthen Antimicrobial Stewardship in ASEAN countries.
