MyOHUN One Health Field Epidemiology Training program was held from 9th until 12th May 2022, located at the Bangi Resort Hotel. The activity focus on educating and providing in-service workers with relevant training in field epidemiology. This is one of the annual training programs organized by MyOHUN to empower the front- line of the One Health workforce. The training began with the introductory session by Project Leader Dr. Yap Wei Boon from UKM. Then, through several active sessions, the program saw the 40 participants consisting of professionals from health sectors, ministries, universities, and relevant agencies, engaged in discussions, group activities, tabletop exercises, and lectures guided by expert speakers and facilitators. The training end with PPE demonstration and guidelines by two Senior nurses from Hospital Sungai Buloh; Mdm. Norrida Samsudin and Mdm. Noor Hasani Hasan. This sharing session is critical for healthcare workers to protect the wearer, prevent the spread of the virus, and ultimately save lives.
