I am an academician and researcher, currently serving as a senior lecturer in Sultan Zainal Abidin University. I am a veterinarian by training, specializing in veterinary public health, with additional training in proteomics-based biomarker discovery. I earned my DVM and PhD from Universiti Putra Malaysia and the University of Glasgow, UK respectively. Currently, I am actively conducting AMR research in human, animal and environment by engaging various communities and stakeholders . I have keen interests in positive youth development programs; outreach projects that educate and promote awareness on zoonotic diseases to the rural community and university students in Malaysia.
