She is a senior lecturer with expertise in Ruminant Medicine and Veterinary Epidemiology. Her current research is on the epidemiology, diagnosis, treatment and control of lameness in dairy cattle in Peninsular Malaysia. To date, her publications include research findings on the prevalence, incidence, risk factors of lameness and hoof lesions in dairy cattle in selected farms in Peninsular Malaysia, efficacy of a novel hoof trimming technique and treatment protocols for hoof horn lesions, and an evaluation of the novel interventions for lameness on dairy cattle welfare and production.
