Dr. Abdul Rahman works at the Department of Public Health Medicine in the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, University of Malaysia Sabah (UMS). He completed his degree MBBCh (Cairo) in 2012, Master in Public Health, MPH (UKM) in 2017, and Doctor of Public Health, DrPH (UKM) in 2021. He began as a House Officer in Hospital Tuanku Jaafar Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. Then as a Medical officer at Hospital Tuaran, Sabah. He had experience working in the Seremban District Health Office, Tuaran Area Health Office, and Sabah State Health Department. He began his career as an academician in 2016 by joining the Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences at UMS. He is a Public Health Medicine Specialist and his expertise is more toward health economics.
