Dr Leong Pooi Pooi obtains both her undergraduate as well as postgraduate studies at Universiti Putra Malaysia. She is now being employed as Associate Professor in M. Kandiah Faculty of Medicine & Health Sciences, Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman (UTAR). Her main research interest is in the area of 1) stem cell – induced pluripotent stem cells and mesenchymal stem cells; 2) immunobiology of viral infections diseases and 3) geriatric health and management.
