Matron Suhaily Othman graduated from Nursing College, Penang in 1996. She completed her Midwifery Post Basic Training in 2001 followed by Post Basic Infection Control in 2008. She continued her study in Bachelor in Nursing Sciences Open University Malaysia.
Currently she works as a Nursing Matron in Infection Control Unit, Medical Care Quality Section, Medical Development Division, Ministry of Health, Malaysia since 2016. She is a member of Crisis Preparedness and Response Centre (CPRC) Hospital Services, Medical Program under Infection Prevention & Control Team for development of COVID-19 management and guideline since March 2020. She also involved in Infection Control Vocational Training Team at Hospital in Nagoya, Japan in 2019.
She is actively involved as a committee member in Infection Control Program and Training at the national level.
