Short Bio
Dr Mohd Rohaizat is an Associate Professor at the Department of Community Health, Faculty of Medicine, National University of Malaysia. He attained his MD in 1998, Master’s degree in Community Medicine in 2009 and PhD from Niigata University, Japan in 2019. With experience of 14 years in public health and epidemiology, his field of interest is in infectious disease epidemiology focusing on emerging re-emerging diseases, neglected tropical diseases, vector-borne and zoonotic diseases. He has 150 publications, which include 114 indexed articles in Web of Science and Scopus. He is the editorial board member for Borneo Epidemiology Journal, Al-Bayan Journal for Medical and Health Sciences, Global Journal of Public Health Medicine and Medical Technology and Public Health Journal. Currently, he is a Visiting Professor of Al-Bayan University Iraq, Research Fellow of the Borneo Medical and Health Research Centre and the President of the Malaysian Association of Epidemiology.
